GABRIELLA GODDE

Loan Officer Gabriella Godde of Castle & Cooke Mortgage in Lancaster, California possesses twenty years of accumulated knowledge that has helped vault her to the top tier of her profession, and allows her to provide all of her many clients with unparalleled customer service.

Gabrielle began her career in the mortgage industry in 1997, after relocating to the Antelope Valley, about an hour outside Los Angeles. “I actually moved from L.A. because there was a need for loan officers out here. I came out here and trained, and I got to learn all sides of doing home loans. For instance, I started out as a Loan Officer Assistant,” she says, “and from their I got trained in processing as well. So I’m the kind of Loan Officer who knows all sides of the loan; how to process it and how to underwrite it. So it’s helped me be very successful in what I do. Instead of just bringing in the loans, I’m bringing them in plus having a system to process them, too, which has worked out very well for me.”

Working with a team of six, including an Assistant, three Loan Officers and a Processer, Gabriella’s business is growing so fast she is currently looking to expand her business. “My business is very productive, very full, so I need to hire more people,” she says. A major factor in this continuing growth is her dedication to both her buyers and her real estate partners. “That’s how I get my business,” says Gabriella. “I give high quality customer service to everyone I work with. When they call, I answer the phone. I have been promoting pre-qualifications 24/7, and they know that if they need me I’ll be available. I take exceptional care of my buyers because they’re not only my client, they’re the realtor’s client as well. So if I make sure the buyer is happy, then the real estate agent is happy too.”

While located in the small town of Lancaster, Gabriella’s geographic reach extends to the entire state of California. “I call myself the California Mortgage Girl, because I handle loans throughout the state. I get a lot of business from up north, close to San Francisco, in San Joaquin, Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. What I specialize in is 100% financing for first-time home buyers. I do a lot of loan applications over the phone, and the client emails me their documentation and I get them approved.

Despite her financial success, the element of her job she enjoys the most is helping people get into their first home. “I definitely love that,” she says. She also takes pride in the fact that her vast resources of industry experience and knowledge helps make the sometimes difficult-loan process smoother for her clients. “Just having confidence in what I do makes me happy,” says Gabriella.

When she’s not working, Gabriella can be found volunteering for multiple local charity organizations, including a recent auction to raise money to promote awareness of domestic abuse. She and her husband are also avid off-road racers, and have plans to attend the Baja 1000 race in November. “I’ve been racing since 2000,” says Gabriella, “and much of my free time is spent with friends in the off-roading world.”

In addition to her plans to expand her business, Gabriella is also indulging in her passion for educating others about the home-buying process. “I really enjoy putting on first-time home buyer seminars,” she says. “We just did one in Berkeley and it went very well.”

Despite how busy she is, Gabrielle always finds time to express her gratitude to her clients. “I call them all, and let them know I’m here for them, or to answer any questions they might have. I want them to feel like they have an expert on their side.”
