A Brooklyn native, Victoria Carter attended St. Francis College and then received her Master’s Degree in Food Service Management from Rutgers University. Victoria worked as a registered dietician for several years before working her way into food service management where she rose to the level of Executive Director of the food service department for the New York City Department of Corrections. Eventually Victoria was hired away by Saks Fifth Avenue to serve as Vice President of Store Operations.

In this position Victoria was responsible for negotiating and managing the lease business of third party companies who occupy space in Saks Fifth Avenue stores across the country, often negotiating million dollar deals.  It was while searching for homes that Victoria discovered a natural segue to a career in Real Estate.  “I was looking to find a career that enabled me to use my past experience and skill set in an environment that also provided more flexibility to raise my children. Victoria began her Real Estate career with Burgdorff Realtors; a well-known New Jersey based company that was later sold to Coldwell Banker. Out of 700 agents in the area, Victoria ranked as the companies top agent. With hard work and dedication she achieved the number one ranking out of all 33,000 agents nationwide. In 2012, Victoria moved to Weichert, Realtors in Short Hills and has continued to achieve #1 status both regionally and nationally on a regular basis. Victoria attributes much of her success to servicing the towns of Summit, Short Hills, Milburn, Maplewood, South Orange, Livingston and Montclair.
