Coming into the real estate world with four decades of customer care experience to her credit meant Fort Worth-area Top Agent Sandy Binner was poised for success, and that is exactly what she has achieved. “I had worked with Southwestern Bell for 30 years, and then spent 10 years as a Weight Watchers leader,” she explains. In fact, it was one of her Weight Watchers members who encouraged Sandy to try her hand at real estate. “She and my husband both kept telling me they thought I would be great at it,” she says. “So I finally gave it a try. It’s been four years now and it feels like three months; the time has just flown by! It feels like it’s my calling.”

Top real estate agent in Texas Sandy Binner is a full-service agent whose business is split almost evenly between buyers and sellers. “I work throughout the entire Fort Worth area and have even helped buyers and sellers in Dallas,” she explains.

It’s no surprise that Sandy cites her outstanding client service as one of the qualities that gives her a competitive advantage. “I always answer my phone and return my calls, no matter what time it is,” she is. “I want to ensure my clients a smooth transaction, whether it’s buying a house, selling a house or both,” she continues. “I value my clients and feel they deserve outstanding customer service, from the first contact to the closing and beyond. I think that’s really what sets me apart.”

Sandy is also pleased to be able to say that throughout all her transactions so far, every one of those clients have become her friends. “I think they remember the relationship that we built, and they recognize my sincerity in handling their transactions,” she explains. “Especially since buying or selling a home is such an emotional time with so many ups and downs.”

One simple philosophy drives everything Sandy does in her business. “It is always my goal to provide my clients with service beyond their expectations,” she says. “I hear from people that there are so many agents who do not want to work after 5 o’clock or don’t want to be bothered on the weekends, but that’s just not going to work; clients expect more.”

It’s precisely that commitment to offering more that has earned Sandy a number of accolades since her very first year as an agent. “My first year I was Rookie of the Year for the entire company and I made the Silver Club,” she says. Her second year she achieved the Diamond level and was #10 in the office out of 150 agents. Last year she earned a place in the InternationalnPresident’s Circle and was #5 overall in the office. “No matter what though,” she says. “It’s worth everything I go through just to help the clients.”

Going forward, Sandy plans to learn and utilize the latest technology available to benefit her clients and her business, but never at the expense of the personal touch. “Every year, after they announce the production awards, I send every one of my clients a handwritten Thank You note letting them know they were responsible for helping me achieve my success.”

When she’s not helping clients, there’s a good chance you’ll find Sandy cheering on the Dallas Mavericks, at a car show proudly showing off her ’98 Corvette, or on a relaxing cruise with her family.
